The preacher said "God makes it snow on the good and

the bad. God why won't you give me the beach ministry we talked about last month? I am sick and very tired of the snow. God if you won't give me a beach ministry in the warm south, how about making spring come early? Well if is February and a leap year so we elect a new president this year. God bless America! Spring is just around the corner. I can't wait for that. I'm just not sure about a new president.

We whine and cry

Boy do we every whine and cry about everything under the sun. We complain about the weather, politics, our job, our mates, our friends, neighbors, our church, going shopping, our cars, our computers. Is there anything we don't whine and cry about? I can't think of any. If you were get a million dollars, you would complain about something. That would prove that money won't make us happy.

Paul said "Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in

whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content."

Why can't we be more satisfied with what we have? I believe we are taught from birth to better ourselves. So what are we to do? Well, I find if I pray I do better. So if I am happy and content I will have better health. I guess the Lord is telling me I need to pray more and to study the Word more. What is he telling you?

I met this guy while I was in Albuquerque, NM. He has a motto he lives by everyday. He said listen carefully and live by these 4 rules:

DRANK, STEAL, SWEAR, & LIE

I Was shaking my head "no", but he then told me to listen while he explained His 4 rules, So here they are:

(1) "DRINK" from the "everlasting cup" every day.

(2) "STEAL" a moment to help someone that is in worse shape than you are.

(3) "SWEAR" that you will be a better person today than yesterday

(4) And last, but not least, when you "LIE" down at night thank God you live in America and have freedom

I am not as good as I should be; I am not as good as I could be; But thank God I am better than I used to be.
